By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. General
These Terms govern (i) your use of the Site and (ii) the sale and supply of products purchased through it. Please read these Terms together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice, which are incorporated by reference.
We grant you a limited right to access and use the Site for lawful purposes. You must not use the Site in any way that could damage, disable or impair it, or interfere with anyone else’s use and enjoyment.
2. Eligibility & Customer Responsibilities (Prescription Orders)
- You are aged 16 or over and are not registered blind or partially sighted.
- You hold a valid written prescription issued by a qualified optician within the last 24 months, or 12 months if aged 70 or over.
- You will provide accurate and complete prescription details when requested.
Before accepting your order, we may request a copy of your prescription and/or ask you to obtain an updated prescription if the current one is unclear or expired.
3. Placing an Order
Orders must be submitted through the Site. Placing an order constitutes an offer to buy goods from Chan8e.
- Prescription products: Your order is accepted once payment has been processed and approved by our optical team.
- Non-prescription products: Your order is accepted once payment has been taken or the goods have been dispatched, whichever occurs first.
We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion. You will receive an email confirming whether your order has been accepted.
4. Product Availability
We make every reasonable effort to fulfil all orders. If a product becomes unavailable after you’ve ordered, we will contact you to offer an alternative or a full refund.
If we need additional information and do not receive your response within 30 days, your order may be cancelled and refunded.
5. Prices & Payment
- All prices are shown in GBP and include UK VAT, where applicable.
- We take care to ensure prices are correct, but errors may occur. If a pricing error is identified before processing, we’ll ask whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
- Some countries may charge import VAT or customs duties on delivery; these charges are the customer’s responsibility and cannot be refunded by Chan8e.
- We accept major debit and credit cards. Payment must be made in full before your order is processed.
6. Delivery
We aim to dispatch your order as quickly as possible and will email you when it has been shipped. Delivery is made to the address provided at checkout. If your order hasn’t arrived within 14 days of your dispatch email, please contact order@chan8e.co.uk so we can investigate.

7. Returns & Exchanges
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. You may request a return or exchange within 100 days of delivery for eligible items, provided they are unused, in resaleable condition and in their original packaging. If your item is faulty or not as described, we’ll repair, replace, or refund at no cost to you.
Prescription, personalised, or custom-made lenses may have different return conditions unless faulty. Please see our Delivery & Returns policy for full details.
This extended returns policy is in addition to your statutory rights, including your right to cancel most online orders within 14 days of delivery and your rights if an item is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.

8. 12-Month Warranty & Faulty Items
All Chan8e eyewear includes a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use. This warranty starts from the date your order is dispatched.
The warranty covers manufacturing faults with frames, hinges, lenses, or lens coatings where the issue is not caused by normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, loss, theft, or changes to your prescription after purchase.
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, including minor scratches or cosmetic changes from regular use;
- Accidental damage, misuse, neglect, or improper care;
- Loss, theft, or damage caused after delivery;
- Damage caused by repairs or adjustments carried out by someone other than Chan8e or our authorised partners;
- Changes to your prescription after purchase;
- Issues caused by incorrect prescription information supplied by you.
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible at order@chan8e.co.uk so we can review the issue.
Where appropriate, we may offer a repair, replacement, refund, or another suitable solution. We may ask for photos, proof of purchase, or for the item to be returned to us so we can assess the issue.
Prescription lenses are made to your prescription, so we may need to carry out additional checks before confirming whether an issue is due to a product fault, prescription issue, or customer error.
This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory consumer rights.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, design, images, graphics and layout on the Site are owned by or licensed to Chan8e and protected by copyright and trade mark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
10. Privacy & Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the Site and to personalise your experience. Some cookies are essential; others, such as analytics or marketing cookies, are used with your consent. Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice.
11. Website Availability & Disclaimer
The Site and its contents are provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding operation, accuracy or availability of the Site. This does not affect any warranties applicable to goods you purchase or your statutory consumer rights.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chan8e, its affiliates and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, consequential or special loss arising from the use of the Site or goods purchased. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
13. Changes to the Site & Terms
We may update the Site and these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page and apply from the date of posting. Your continued use of the Site indicates acceptance of any changes.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you will also benefit from any mandatory consumer protection rights under your local law.
